Alphabet Resource Bundle - Tracing Cards, Coloring Pages, Letter Finds for ABCs
This resource offers multiple ways for children to practice and learn the letters of the alphabet. By working on letter recognition, letter formation, and letter-sound correspondence, the activities included help children develop depth of understanding of letters.
The tracing cards show students how to form the letters and are great for repeated practice. These pages can be cut in half to create cards, and if you laminate them, children can trace them with a dry erase marker over and over again.
The tracing pages, letter recognition (dot) pages, and coloring pages offer repeated and independent encounters with the letters, interacting with them in a variety of ways. You could combine the tracing practice, coloring pages, and letter finds into a book or binder for children to have their own resource, or you could use the pages individually as you study each letter.
Two sets of matching cards are included - matching the capital letter to a picture (letter-sound correspondence) and matching the upper- and lower-case letters. These pages need to be cut into quarters to create the matching cards. It would be great to laminate these as well just to help them hold up, but it’s not necessary for the activity.
